Acura RSX- What tire size to use when dropped with TEIN s-tech springs?

i have an acura 2002 base RSX
i bought it and found out that springs were cut
i just installed New front struts with Tein-Stech springs...
the problem is that i had bought new tires size 225/55/r16 yesterday and theyre snow tires..
so after installing suspension when i do a U-turn the tire rubs my fender.....previously the car had 225/50/r16...should i just go back to size 50???
before i got the suspension and i installed the 55's tires everytime i hit bump with the higher tires i heard that it hit my fender, now with the new suspension it doesnt but the only problem is when i do the big turns...
i just wanna know if anyone here with the same spring dont have any problems using the 225/50/16 tires?
