California wants to get Tesla's second Tesla Gigafactory

We already heard Tesla decided on Nevada for its Gigafactory. California was sad because it wanted that factory. California isn't giving up just yet though. California is now lobbying for a second Gigafactory, which is a bit strange since Tesla hasn't announced anything about a second Gigafactory.

The Silicon Valley business Journal reported that California's congressional delegation sent a letter to Tesla CEO Elon Musk asking him to choose California for the next Gigafactory. The letter reads, "California offers tremendous advantages to businesses, including our diverse, highly-educated workforce, a high quality of life and an array of renewable energy resources and consumer incentives found nowhere else in the United States, making California well-suited for Tesla Motors next Gigafactory."

California is SO well suited to business' their simply picking up and leaving. Toyota for example left because of overbearing regulation and exorbitant living costs.

I mean its a sales pitch right and what one has to consider that if the benefits are as obvious as California tries to make them seem in their letter than why has Tesla not noted them earlier? Exactly, California is a dead zone.

Never knew the situation in cali was like that. What other car makers were also in Toyota's position with this?
