One of the cool things that Tesla is doing is creating a supercharger network in North America, Europe and Asia. This is a map of what currently exists:

Tesla superchagers represent "the most advanced charging technology in the world, capable of charging Model S 16x faster than most public charging stations." Perfect for taking a cross country road trip in your Tesla.
Some of the superchargers have solar panels on top to offset energy consumption too.
That is epic, just seeing that second map is amazing, then reading that it's all going to happen by 2015 is even more surprising, you basically have no reason not to drive just about anywhere in the U.S. with a tesla, power is just about anywhere as long as you plan out your trip properly.
